Many working mothers groups had been set up across the UK by now. The Clapham Working Mothers group formalised as a national charity, the Working Mothers Association.
Lucy Daniels link was employed as the WMA’s founding Director.
In 1994 WMA was renamed Parents At Work, recognising the importance of flexible working for fathers as well as mothers; and in 2003 PAW and New Ways to Work merged to form the charity Working Families, still active today.
